In Classverse, a classroom is a virtual space where teachers teach their students. While teaching, Classverse provides all the essential tools needed to make distance or online learning effective. These include teaching activities such as whiteboards, quizzes, and assignments, live video classes, sharing learning materials, and more.

Beyond what happens inside the classroom, each classroom must also be properly created and scheduled. This ensures that students and teachers are clearly informed about when the class starts, which days it runs on, its timing, and other important details.

In Classverse, it is best practice to create one classroom per subject for each academic session, such as a semester or a full academic year.

For example, Grade 5 may have separate classrooms for English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. This way, every time a teacher teaches Grade 5 English, they enter the same classroom throughout the academic timeline, whether it lasts six months or a full year.

When creating and scheduling a classroom, you can define the class title (for example, English), description, category (for example, Grade 5 - 2026), schedule details (start date, end date, start time, end time, and whether the class is recurring), and the teacher who will teach the class.

Once the classroom is created, an automated email is sent to the assigned teacher informing them that they have been added to the class. A calendar invite is also sent based on the defined schedule, allowing the class to sync with the teacher’s calendar.

When teachers add students to a classroom, a similar automated email and calendar invite is sent to each student. This ensures students are aware of the class schedule and can easily keep track of their classes.

Who can do this?

For the Free, Essential, and Professional plans, classrooms can be created and scheduled by Teachers.

For the Enterprise plan, classrooms can be created and scheduled by Admins and Coordinators.
